On June 12 and 13, 2026, the Wetzikon Ice Arena was rocking.
Over 1,000 rock fans came together to celebrate the greatest anthems in rock history.
Eight international tribute bands delivered two days filled with excitement, goosebumps, and unforgettable moments.
During the festival, countless visitors came up to me:
“Please hold the festival again in 2027.”
“This festival must not disappear.”
“If necessary, I'll personally support the festival.”
These and other similar reactions touched me deeply.
Despite the festival’s tremendous success on stage and the overwhelmingly positive feedback from fans, it fell short of breaking even by a good 300 fans, resulting in a significant deficit.
That is exactly why I am launching this campaign.
Not to finance the past, but to make the future possible.
Why we need your support:
We don’t want Giants of Rock to be a one-time event.
We want to:
-Host Giants of Rock 2027
-Bring more top international tribute bands to Wetzikon
-Strengthen the rock community
-Establish the festival as a long-term event
